Why Bedrock exists.
The short version: water treatment in Connecticut needed a company that leads with evidence.
The company he could not find
Peter Harkins started Bedrock Water after watching how water treatment gets sold in Connecticut: a “consultation” that’s really a salesperson at your kitchen table, quotes nobody can compare, and equipment only the original dealer will touch.
He built the company he couldn’t find. One that tests first, shows its evidence, puts every number in writing, and installs equipment any professional can service. No lock-in. No pressure. No guessing.
The report does the selling. If it says your water is fine, that’s the answer you get.
HONEST RESULTS, ALWAYS. INCLUDING “YOUR WATER IS FINE.”
Years of assuming, one afternoon of answers.
A family in central Connecticut had lived with their well for over a decade. The water looked clear, tasted fine, and the house had never given them a reason to wonder. Like most well owners, they assumed that was the whole story. Nobody had ever told them otherwise, because nobody was ever going to: no utility watches a private well.
When they finally booked a test, it was not because anything changed. It was a nagging question that had quietly followed them through every glass of water for years: is it actually fine, or do we just not know?
The lab report came back the way most Connecticut reports do: mostly unremarkable, with one number worth fixing and everything else clean. They fixed the one thing, re-tested to see the number move, and filed both reports in a folder that now answers the question for good.
What they talked about afterward was not the equipment. It was the relief. The question they had been carrying was gone, replaced by a page of numbers with sources on it. That is the entire product, and it is the reason this company exists.
The relief is the resultContact us.
